U16 Girls put Reading to the sword

The Under 16 Girls secured victory in their first game in 2024. The girls were clinical in the first half capitalising on any mistake or half mistake made by the opposition. 6 tries and a 34-0 half time score were the reward. The long Christmas break was evident in the second half when we started to give away more penalties as fatigue and the effects of the ice cold wind started to show. Final Score: Reading 5, GAB U16G 48.

This means the girls ended second in their pool and set up a regional semi final for next week. The opponent is most likely Ellingham & Ringwood RFC but we await confirmation from the cup organisers. Well done girls!
