The first game was a truel game of two halves. We played really well in the first half and were unlucky to go in only 1-0 up. In the second half it was like Oxford fielded a different team (they hadn't) and they were the better side. With a minute to go we were 1-2 down and with the last play of the game, the forwards recycled the ball again and again freeing up Olly to slice through a gap to score.

In the second match, again we took the lead, only for Oxford to equalise with the last play of the half. Oxford scored again at the start of the second half, and again the kids dug deep, didn't let their heads drop and came back to level the match 2-2. Both teams defended well and there has been a real improvement in our defensive alignment.

This was the sort of day you'd like to have every week. The teams were evenly matched.the games were tough but played in a great spirit.
